Hi Nate, I've been following your work for the past year and have been promoting your work amongst friends and colleagues where possible. Are you familiar with the work of Todd McGowan at all? He writes from a psychoanalytic perspective about how we are driven to enjoy destruction. One of his classic examples is how "Drill baby, drill!" is a more compelling political message than "solar panels for all." Of course, as you know, solar panels require lots of drilling, which makes me think that a conversation between yourself and McGowan would be interesting and I'm sure you would both learn something from each other. He does appear on a lot of podcasts and has a dedicated following, so if you're ever running out of interview subjects, you might want to consider inviting him.
