An essay I just published, in part inspired by this conversation, called Artificial Intelligence and Living Wisdom: https://tmfow.substack.com/p/artificial-intelligence-and-living

Nate, all your conversations with Daniel have intrigued me so thoroughly that I've started tracking down Daniel's writings and conversations with others. I discovered that he is somehow connected with Game B. Could you please have him back to tell your listeners about Game B?

Game B is attractive. I think it's supposed to be what Daniel calls The Third Attractor. The idea is to develop Proto-B commnunities that will eventually coalesce into a new Game B civilization that takes over from our present Game A, where Game B generally follows the precepts of simplification.

IMO, Game B is also dangerous, and it is unclear whether they have considered precedent. It could repeat the hippie communes of the '60s-'70s, almost all of which failed for a multitude of reasons. https://www.gamebfilm.org/ pre-advertises NFTs. An essay, A Journey To GameB, by James Rutt devotes space to crypto. The comments on the youtube video, An Initiation to Game B, by the Stoa, sound sort of cultish.

So I'm torn about looking deeper.

Absolutely love these conversations. I'm a huge fan. I've got an idea...it's a little wacky but hear me out. First, let's presume that inertia will develop AGI (vis a vis multipolar trap as Daniel lays out), so the objective then becomes how do we dark horse the alignment of the AGI such that it incorporates the nature/plant intelligence and its wisdom of oneness/wholeness. Seems to me we injected this into ourselves via plant medicine. Therefore, the objective is to "drop acid" into the AGI and crank up the tunes. I honestly don't know how to further the analogy...it's pretty silly, but some other silly articles:

Honestly I'm a pessimistic optimist. Could there be a chance an AGI can figure out nonduality on its own? This may be tautological, but if whatever it is that we are is nondual, then whatever that's created is nondual ("you're running and you're running and you're running away..."), even a creative creative machine, so at the end of the day the singularity is the ultimate expression of itself anyhow, so just let it be, even if it incorporates the sadness of extinction, it holds the seeds to the next cycle...it is what it is...for entertainment purposes only (lila)
